An associate at Goehring, Rutter & Boehm, Mandi's focus is in the area of appellate practice. In only a few years of practicing law, Mandi has developed a distinct niche in the area of appellate practice by being able to assist a wide variety of clients at all levels of appeal in the Pennsylvania state and Federal appellate courts. She is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania and West Virginia State Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States Third Circuit Appellate Court and the United States Supreme Court.

In addition to her appellate practice, Mandi works within our Estate Planning and Administration, Real Estate Law and School and Municipal Law Groups. She is also experienced in areas of civil litigation, including litigation in the Orphans Court and oil and gas disputes.

Mandi's practice with the School and Municipal and Real Estate Law Groups involves representing the public schools and municipalities in various operational matters, as well as land developers in zoning and land development disputes.

As for her estate work, she is experienced within all estate planning matters, including drafting wills, living wills and financial powers of attorney, ensuring that her clients' needs, as well as their family's, are secure. She also handles unique estate administration matters, such as litigation and guardianship matters.

Mandi graduated magna cum laude from Bucknell University in 2001, receiving a dual degree in Economics and Political Science. While at Bucknell, she was elected Phi Beta Kappa. After college, Mandi worked for a Washington, D.C. based law firm before attending law school at the George Mason University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2004. During her third year at George Mason, she participated in the newly formed Domestic Relations Legal Clinic, representing pro se individuals.

During the summer before her third year and following law school, Mandi worked as a law clerk at GRB before joining the firm as an associate in August 2004.

Mandi is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations. She was elected to the Allegheny County Bar Association Young Lawyer Division's Bar Leadership Initiative Class of 2007-2008, where she worked with her class to develop a youth domestic violence education program for young adults.

Mandi has been named a 2010 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star in the area of Appellate.

She recently joined the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy's Gardens and Greenspace Committee, which has recently instituted its "TreeVitalize" project, which aims to plant 20,000 trees throughout the Pittsburgh region by 2012. In addition, the Gardens and Greenspace Committee is undertaking an initiative to add "greenscapes" to city school grounds serving all 65 Pittsburgh Public Schools.
